8130-3 Airworthiness Approval

8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tag – otherwise known as FAA Form 8130-3 identifies a part or group of parts for approval and conformity determination from production approval holders. This form contains the name and address of the organization, the invoice or contract number and tracking number. Product name and a brief description are also indicated along with the part number, eligibility, serial number, quantity and the product status. Installer responsibilities are likewise stated with the name of authorized person or certifying body and their signatures. Looking into the airworthiness approval tag, one may know whether the product or item conforms to the approved design for safe operation or not.
