HTS – High Thermal Stability
HTS – High Thermal Stability oils are mobile jet oils known for its aircraft performance. Aviation thermal fuels should pass the thermal stability standards. Indicators include low thermal conductivity, good handling strength, fire protection capability and resistant to thermal shock. Aviation fuels are often HTS petroleum based fuels that are less critical for heating. It has additives to decrease the risk of explosions or icing. Fuels should conform to the standard specification approved for a specific aircraft type. HTS products are composed of stable chemical components or molecules which are highly resistant to decomposition.
