Inco Terms – In commercial terms, it refers to the shipping responsibility set by the International Chamber of Commerce or the ICC. Inco terms, also known as Incoterms rules and International Commercial Terms refer to pre-defined procurement processes basically used to clarify tasks, costing and possible risks associated to delivery and carrying out of goods. This is rules widely adopted by various agencies and government institutions to set general interpretation of terms applied in international business and trade. Incoterms are placed to avoid misinterpretation of terms and rules in countries across the globe. These terms are regularly updated and published under a registered ICC patent.
