ASA – Aviation Suppliers Association is founded in 1993; a trade association representing the aviation distribution industry to ensure safety of aviation products in the market. Members of ASA are mostly distributors of aircraft parts who have linkages with installers, aircraft repair facilities, and aircraft part manufacturers and US Military services. ASA ensures the overall safety benefits to the industry. It provides regulation standard to protect against fake aircraft parts and address complaints accordingly concurring safety practices. ASA works closely with Federal Aviation Administration or FAA to establish the Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program.
