TSN – Time since New
TSN – Time since New (applies to engine components); refers to aerospace or a time measurement relative to the suitability of equipment to an aircraft. TSN refers to the life of hard time components sucj as the engine, propellers, survival kits noted over a specified period of time based on the aircraft’s life span and limitation. Technicians conduct maintenance procedures, restores the components of the aircraft replacing the necessary parts with new parts. Although, this is somewhat expensive, Rregular maintenance task likely restores the unit’s safe condition giving very low failure probability Cycles are then noted until the next limit is reached.
