FAA – Federal Aviation Administration
FAA – Federal Aviation Administration is a National aviation authority in US under the Department of Transportation that publishes standards to protect consumers of aircraft parts, regulate all aspects of aviation processes. Roles of FAA include regulation of commercial space, air navigation station geometry, issuance, suspension and revocation of pilot certificates. FAA is responsible in developing researches pertaining to airspace systems and aeronautics. In addition, they also develop the air traffic control for both civil and military aircraft. Specific role of FAA is divided to subcategories under airports, air traffic, aviation safety and commercial space transportation.
